Very interesting clue about Sydney! So maybe it's actally a hint at a 2024 world tour spanning US, Europe and Australia? One last big bash for the final album...would only be weird then to not include South America as well, but I was told that apparently they had problems getting the necessary inssurance for South America lately but idk how true that is...

and yeah, the ID on one pic changed from Chicago to Sydney,
they both have Wentworth Aves

still odd to have no L.A., no Japan, no Latin America, no Canada etc

they're gonna have to pay somebody to spend another 30 minutes
photoshopping. hope it don't break the marketing budget...

as a concerned fan, i'm gonna help for free

And I've got more great ideas. Photoshop it onto:

-- famous paintings

-- endangered species. the panda one would be a sure-fire viral hit.
pandas are so cute.

-- spectacular natural landscapes

-- babies and kittens and puppies

-- world heritage archeological sites

-- you could even force-download it onto everybody's I-phones as their
new screen-saver. I'm sure they wouldn't mind, they can always delete
it, no harm done

In other words, actual instead of just virtual vandalism...

I'm finding this ad campaign too insulting, so rather than keep bitching
about it, I'm dealing myself out. I don't wanna keep raining on anybody's
parade. If I like the music when its released, I'll be back. If I don't, then
I'm sure I'll be back for whatever comes next after that. Best wishes, r

It’s been like this for decades. Every time there is talk of a new release by the Stones, a few fans lose their minds. Look at this guy who has gone completely overboard just because of the album title and advertising!

The Stones can never do anything right for some people, apparently...if they go on tour, some people complain, and if they don't go on tour, people complain as well...people complain if they don't release new songs, and if they finally do, people complain as well...people even complain about Keith's beanies...it's ridiculous...some of y'all should finally realise (especially after Charlie died) that this isn't gonna last forever and that we gotta apprecciate our fave band as long as we can and not be so ridiculously obnoxious about every little thing they do or don't do...

Personally, I couldn't be more excited about the new album...I'll be in London next week, sadly not on the 6th, but I'll surely drop by Carnaby Street on the 7th then to check things out there, cannot wait!

I should be used to it by now, based on my experience with other forums. It's just puzzling because the same person was criticizing them for Photoshopping and being cheap, and then also criticizing them for actually projecting the images.

Anyway, I want to focus on the positives and treat this whole week as New Album Eve. I love new Stones music. I had a total blast with the Fully Finished Outtakes and really look forward to actual finished and officially released new music. 100% psyched for this album!

I doubt they'll respond at all. A bit like their social media pages asking fans to post what songs they want to hear at their next concert. As if it'll make a difference (the replies were invariably along the lines of 'Satisfaction' or 'Honky Tonk Women' - y'know, songs they would NEVER otherwise have played Grin

) It's done primarily to generate reaction from the fanbase.

Next Wednesday's event is probably a press conference type arrangement. Plenty of questions then. Presumably not too many of them along the lines of the sort of stuff the likes of us would like to ask.
