One thing for sure, her fanbase is huge. And loyal to the point of being
freaking obedient. So, yeah, only one track, but her absence
would have been felt commercially...

Anyway, hopefully the rumour was wrong, and the duets project went
nowhere for some other reason, and she and Mick are still buds

Like they were in Nashville (this vid put together by one of her fans)

I dont know if it was ever anything more than a rumour, but I remember mentioning at the time that it was a strange coincidence that most of the guest artists on the 2013 tour happened to be on UMG or labels owned by UMG

Thankfully it came to nothing. It sounded horrific.

I don't think we've yet put in our requests for which songs the Stones
should cover on this upcoming massive release...

I've been requesting "ball of confusion" for 20 years, so i'll move on
to another gem from my youth...

(check out everybody's favorite left-handed guitarist and, during the
last 5 seconds, the NFL's current craze, the "gritty" dance)

in fact, i think its quite likely that this event will be used to promo/hype
the new album...

i mean, it adds up. Fantastic guest stars on the re-broadcast, fantastic
guest stars on the new album. Glimpses of Dua Lipa et al, snippets of
the new sounds, the first version of the album available for download or
physical purchase the next day, friday feb 3, with the various other
versions on sale soon thereafter...
