If there are more Taylor performances with the band, I hope time improves what he contributes.
I must be missing it, as found his performance quite forced, actually detracting from the show-stopper song MR is.
I'm sure being there, seeing it, experiencing it was quite different.
Possibly there are other clips which will show a better performance.
Having said this, I am ready for my beating.

there were a few slip ups in terms of timing and infrequent bum notes, but you cant really knock what as essentially a 12 minute crowd-pleasing virtuosic solo! he seemed totally in his element to be up there with the band, beaming as he waved goodbye!

i'd love in the next shows for them to keep him on for a performance of Love in Vain, but time probably wouldnt permit

I think MT had more adrenaline pumping through him than he's probably experienced in a long, long time. He was fine overall, just a little lost at times, as the arrangement shifted under his feet. I think he's going to get dialed in, and blow us away. The chops, while not what they once were, are still there.
