Ya hace unos meses que entre muy fuerte en el cicilismo y hace poco vi estas hermosas remeras pero a un precio no tan hermoso. Alguien sabe de alguna direccion donde se pueda conseguir algun modelo Stone a precio que no provoque mi divorcio?

Myth # 5: "For the last 22 years or so, they've been such a grotesque dinosaur act that it's embarrassing and I have little if any respect for them at all." This is the most unpleasant and nagging myth - the myth that revolves around the band name. Okay. The Beatles have disbanded, but did that prevent the Beatles from recording solo records? No, they went ahead and all four of them put out loads of records over the years. Some of these were great; some merely good; some of them sucked. Likewise, the Rolling Stones after 1970 put out albums that were either great (Sticky Fingers, Some Girls, Tattoo You), good (Black And Blue, Voodoo Lounge) or sucked (Dirty Work). Would it be more acceptable if they put out the records that sucked as disguised solo albums? Who really cares? Musicians are musicians; they go on working regardless of their age or the epoch they're working in. It's just that some musicians stay together and some musicians work separately.

Truly, I don't give a damn what name do they put out their music under - 'Rolling Stones' or 'Mick Jagger and friends'. Too much fluff has been thrown on onto that 'band' notion. A 'band' is a group of individual people. That's all. And actually, the fact that the Stones stayed together resulted in their putting out less crappy albums than the four ex-Beatles who went their separate ways and put out crappy albums on their own. For one crappy Stones album you get one crappy John Lennon album, one crappy McCartney album, one crappy Harrison album (and ten crappy Ringo albums, I guess!). Perhaps this statistical method will be satisfying for somebody.

Oh, and one last thing: anybody who says 'the Stones are stupid for staying together for so long' is advised to visit a Stones' live show the next time they go on tour (if they ever will). I seriously doubt that anybody who's ever left an actual Stones' concert could hold on to that statement for long.

Creo que ya estuvo en el foro, pero el search no me dio nada, de todos modos creo que vale la pena

Hasta ahora nunca me hice un CD con temas de los Stones porque en general prefiero escuchar albumes enteros, pero se me ocurrio tener una especie de 40 Licks alternativo con temas que obviamente no aparecen en el 40 licks y en general quedan medios olvidados, estilo Torn and Frayed, Winter, etc.

Voy a pasar album por album y elegir una recopilacion alternativa.

A ver si se animan, tiren nombres de temas para formar este CD o CD doble, no hace falta que tiren 40 temas, incluso un tema es suficiente.

Escuchando el tema 'The rocky road to Dublin' (The Chieftains - The long black veil), se puede oir en el minuto 1:10 un riff que parece de satisfaction. En este caso es un tema tradicional tocado por los Chieftains y los Stones.
Tienen algun otro tema tocado por los Stones con un riff de otro tema?

No hablo de riffs similares como los de JJF and SFM, sino de uno que lo tocan medio de improviso en otro tema.

Me imagino que todos lo conocen a este album, pero por las dudas, si alguien no lo escucho, que lo haga ya!

"No tengo problema en ser comparado a Dylan o Lou Reed, los 3 seguimos y todavia estamos en focus artisticamente. Pero no puedo equipararme a los Stones o los Who. Me gustaron esas bandas, en especial los Stones, pero creo que perdieron su esencia. Hoy no viven mas que de recuerdos, sin relacion con el rock. Espiritualmente suenan mas como Perry Como.
Incluso en epocas en que de hecho desaparecia y emergia nuevamente, nunca lo hize a base de nostalgia. Soy un tipo que siempre, sistematicamente, intente destruir la base del publico de mis albumes. Toda mi carrera se basa en  destruccion sistematica"
