(With regard to the following, I have no further info,
nor even the slightest speculative comment to offer)

Sandra Beck and Eric Clapton have announced two nights of
concerts (May 22-23) at the Royal Albert Hall with rock legend
colleagues and friends to honour the memory and artistry of
the late Jeff Beck.

Eric Clapton
Gary Clark Jr
Johnny Depp
Billy Gibbons
Imelda May
John McLaughlin
Rod Stewart
Joss Stone
Susan Tedeschi
Derek Trucks

Line up subject to change.

Surplus income from the concerts will be donated to the Folly Wildlife Rescue.

Other than lifetime earnings, the last major dollar record
held by the Stones is $9.4 million gross per show for No Filter.
I thought that record was untouchable (U2 2nd place $6.9 million
for The Claw), but Swift might break it.

Swift's 44-song strategy has worked a treat. She will now sell out
all 50 stadium shows at approx $10.2 million per. She will move
from half- to full-billionaire status, the first female musician to
do so strictly through her music. Rihanna got there a few years
ago, but mostly through the success of her cosmetics company.
Beyonce's close too i think, but a lot of it is from investments

ADDENDUM: Let me elaborate a bit on how smart Swift is.
Her last tour Reputation was a technological wonder.
85 semi-trucks versus 87 for The Claw versus 37 for
Steel Wheels.

The Claw destroyed U2. Their next tour was such a
down-sized let-down that they lost their mass audience.
And have never got it back.

We know how cleverly the Stones handled this staging issue.
By slowly down-sizing over 32 years, by slowly weaning their
audiences off the spectacle.

So I wondered how Taylor Swift was going to handle this issue
of spectacle. And she came up with a brilliant solution. And not
by copying the Stones' strategy. She halved the spectacle, but
doubled the number of songs, so that no one has even noticed
the downsizing of the staging.

Like I said, brilliant.

BUT, in my opinion, and this will sound sort of strange and
mystical, and I suppose it is strange and mystical, because
it is certainly not rational or scientific, but in my opinion,
having delved a little into her lyrics, into the mental poison
she is foisting upon her fans, I believe that God or The Universe
or What-Have-You is not at all happy with Swift's message of
"you CAN always get what you want"

FWIW, just now, iorr.orgs's MonicaDe:

"Mick is not limping. I can assure you guys, he is totally
fine as I saw him during the Arsenal match. Your so-called
'insiders' and gossips are useless."

(sadly no video, also her quote is grammar-corrected here for readability)

ADDENDUM: Monica may now have upped the ante. She
seems to have stated, as further evidence of Mick's good
health, that he's about to go off on a "safari" holiday.
Unfortunately, her grammar is poor, so its difficult to know
for sure exactly what she's trying to say, or when she's being
sarcastic. Anyway, if the safari happens (to Panama again?),
we'll know we have ourselves a new star over there in
BV-land. If not, all we have is more questionable testimony

Un-edited:

"You don't go for Safari trip is you have some serious health problem."

Let's review the non-stop imaginings on MS-IORR...

First, the Stones summer tour is delayed, even though there
is zero evidence that any such tour ever got past the planning
stage. In fact, there is no evidence it was ever even planned
(the evidence is that it was merely teased)

Then, because this imaginary tour needs an imaginary
reason for its postponement, Mick's actual foot conveniently
suffers an imaginary injury. And I do mean "convenient"
because although he suffers no obvious symptoms, it
is still serious enough to keep him offstage four months
into the future, necessitating not just the postponement
of the first few shows, but the entire tour. Sound
preposterous? C'mon, that's only because you're not
using your imagination!

3) At MS-IORR they pride themselves on their imagination.
So, if its not his foot, they now have an unlimited list of
imaginary afflictions that Mick may undoubtedly be suffering
from. The poor guy, pretending to DILF it up at a football
match with his kids, when he knows that not even Dr. House
can figure out what's wrong with him. These rare cases of
"no symptoms" are very tough to crack

4) And since now there are signs that BV's troops are running
out of imagination, today he has come to their rescue with
fresh imaginary news...

"Ronnie Wood will be joining in at the the Tribute To
Jeff Beck at Royal Albert Hall, so tour rehearsals in May
are unfortunately off"

Finally we've got the real-est imaginary story yet. If Jeff
Beck didn't actually die, MS-IORR imagines that the Stones
would soon be rocking stadiums across the USA.

For the latest on the Stones 2023 tour, be sure to
tune in regularly to the most imaginative name in news...

I like the people there at iorr but the board is ran like some kind of strange dictatorship. One can only say certain things  etc. etc. The owner / moderator shuns any criticism of the band and acts as if he serves as a protector of the band while giving the perception of being some sort of uptight school teacher who is there to school the boards members.
While claiming to have information about the band he gives only so much of that out and if someone speculates otherwise or into the information he gives he advises them to stop or he will remove comments?

I really think it's pretty idiotic and negates why we are online on a fan based message board to try to openly discuss topics concerning the band.

I personally go online to be my own person .. and as long as Im not being rude or antagonizing anyone etc. I feel one should be able to voice their opinion without worrying about a Message Board-Nanny. I dunno .. I am not here to bad-mouth anyone and I hope I dont come across that way but it just feels partly Cult-like and I'm jus not into the the type of deal they run there in the way it is. It is partly why I dont post there anymore. I certainly don't wish ill-will .. Wish the folks there the best ... Just my personal take on things there.

Well put. I used to be a member on iorr but he kicked me off PERMANENTLY after just under two weeks when I never did anything wrong. Every try I have made for FOUR YEARS now has been ignored/refused. Amidst his refusal he made accusations of inappropriate behavior against me which are ALL UNTRUE. He accused me of numerous offensive posts which others reported -- UNTRUE, Threats -- UNTRUE. As I said when I ranted about trying to get access: I did not join to make trouble for anyone. I joined because of wanting to share my perspective. Getting me banned was seriously wrong because I didn't do anything bad. To be kicked off a forum like that and automatically refused another chance is cancel culture.

Yes Well I am sorry that you were pushed out. I can understand and I've once been in a sort of / semi-similar situation on the same sector. Occasionally I 've glanced there a few times and I think it is getting worse in the regards we mention and I do actually see people complaining there about it.

I don't participate where I have to constantly feel as though I'm walking on egg-shells or have to tip-toe all the time ..   (in real life or online). Got the feeling a moderator there (<< I'm not into publicly calling out people or using specific names etc.) seems feel as though he is 'above' others there as was mentioned. At least that is how I've always perceived things there.

Mweh Oh Well Cheesy Perhaps some day things can change who knows. I wish the members there the best either way. I wish no ill-will to the joint etc.

Oh well .. Annnyway ... Rocks Off Has always been my main squeeze even when I have posted over at iorr and I have disclosed that there and here (not that there is some odd competition .. jus dont want to come off as a phony ha Cheesy ).

Here is to a new album .. <<< the important thing! Ha

I read selected topics on the iorr forum all the time.
Some great people post on there...

There's wheat, there's chaff, same as everywhere

...

And although iorr dot org's annual page views are down
significantly from their peak (approx 1 million now versus
2 million then), that is still a number that definitely helps
move tix, albums and merch

I  wouldnt go that far...

Please allow me to kiss some butt here, and also agree somewhat
with Ian, about the difference between here and there...

The late Debbie Tiger, always a strong advocate for fans and
of ways to beat the tix game, posted exclusively on iorr and
shidoobee and was loved by readers. This put some pressure
on BV and Stonesdoug, cutting a bit into profits for the Stones,
but so what. She wasnt leaking info, she was figuring things out...

Anyway, when she passed, despite her popularity, which brought
many page views to BV and Stonesdoug, neither of them as far
as I know (and I was looking) posted one word of remembrance.

But you know who did post touching words? Despite Debbie never
having posted here. Voodoo and Gazza each wrote beautifully
about their memories of her.

Voodoo and Gazza are what is inarguably superior about this site

I agree Voodoo & Gazza Rule. It is much more personable with them as Moderators. Voodoo likes and slightly comments to me / with me some of my things elsewhere at times like on Twitter  (a good person).

Gazza .. is a 'Real Kat' as they say. Top notch. I am glad I introduced the guy to The Stones music .. Hell that was back in 2010 (  Cheesy  ). He has never looked back.

I knew her as "Debbie Tiger" from the fan forum "Undercover"
which started before either iorr or shidoobee, but which has
since petered out, i think

Her name on both iorr and shidoobee was "GlimmerGirl24",
which I confirmed with a google search, which provided results
at both sites, but very few. Which is puzzling. Because it wasnt
just the ticket thing for which she got acclaim, it was also for
her live-streaming shows...

And so I am a bit disturbed by this: When I searched on
iorr dot org for "GlimmerGirl24" it returned "no results found"
(no search available at shidoobee it seems)

Did she get flushed down the iorr memory hole intentionally?

I'm pretty sure all traces of revvy have been wiped clean there.
He banned me 5 times, not because I broke any rules, but
because he didnt like my style. Everytime he would only let
me back on if I changed my name, so i was "revlights" and
"no comment" and "SuperRevvy" and other names i don't
remember. But people knew who I was instantly because
of, what else, my style

When not banning me, he would simply delete my posts
without warning or reason. My favorite such incident was
when I did a post without a single word written by me.
It was a short quote from a Mick interview in Sweden
combined with a short quote from "salt of the earth".
BV thought I was spouting radical politics LOL

So then he banned me "permanently", "under any name".

Thanks Rev!

Well, I knew Debbie but not because the above mentioned websites (which I love and respect) but because of the Undercover Mailing List which is the net's oldest Rolling Stones community, we're net's oldest Rolling Stones Message Board but they are a mailing list

The first rocks off regular who passed away was a very young fan, Temple (just 20 yo), from North Carolina, he was hit by a car on Halloween 1998 since then we have always paid tribute to those passing, unfortunately now we have many gone...

We made a tribute to him with the help of his parents, the website is here... https://www.rocksoff.org/temple.htm By a coincidence or not, it is also a proof that we are the net's oldest message board about the Stones, his father posted the news here at the message board the day after

RIP Debbie, RIP Temple and RIP the many regulars we lost in almost 25 years of Rocks Off

I knew her as "Debbie Tiger" from the fan forum "Undercover"

since petered out, i think

IORR bans are the absolute definition of cancel culture. When I got banned I was refused another chance. Every try I make at attempting a return has been ignored/refused.
