All true, and I posted about this at some length much earlier in this
thread, most of which I won't repeat now, except for the most fun fact:

Mick hung out a lot with Toots in those early days, and when Toots came
up with a new variation of "blue beat", Toots was trying to think of a name
for it. Because for Toots it seemed like the opposite of rock'n'roll, he
named it after his friend Mick Yagger, reversing what he thought
was the spelling.

Mick and Chris Blackwell soon convinced Toots to cover up this true story
by changing the spelling to "reggae" and say it came from Jamaican
slang for "raggedy", that is, "poor"

Its important to note that "rogerriffin", of Spanish-language Rocks Off,
got the cover art for Sweet Sounds from "Lady Gaga's fan club"

But I don't know which Lady Gaga fan club. There's so many.

On Apple Music they spell it out clearly 'The Rolling Stones & Lady Gaga'

From another Gaga fan site: "Sweet Sounds of Heaven is expected
to be released next week." No source cited.

And now that same fan site has dropped the word "expected" and
made it simply "Out Next Week". Still no source.

Notably, neither of the best two sources, the "latest news" sections
of Billboard and Variety have anything yet. And the
gaga-reddit has still not backed off its Oct 20 date

I thoroughly enjoy 'Get Close'. I agree .. it is getting overlooked a bit next to Depending on You. People will grow more to like it as it is heard in context of the whole album.

Kissing Sally in the alley (in the LA recording studio, the photo that
tipped me off back in March, when I began doing Gaga hype)

Few people know the Stones angle of the following story:

Gaga was quite used to wearing those hellishly high platforms, and
even dancing in them in carefully choreographed numbers. But what
she was not used to was doing free-form Jagger dancing on those
platforms, and she tore something in her hip during the Dec 2012
show in Newark. But as one of the music industry's ultimate pros,
she toughed it out...

Her hip never got better, it only got worse, and in mid-Feb 2013 she
had surgery at age 26 to repair a cartilage tear deep in her hip joint.
The idiot media of course screamed "career over" but that was never
true. But she did have to spend six months or so in her wheelchair
named "emma", and months more in rehab...

All in service to the Stones. Giving by far the most spectacularly wild
performance by any Stones guest artist in history....

(As she's leaving the stage, Mick exclaims, "Lady Gaga! Brilliant!")

on her official TwitterX (nor anywhere else) that there is any such

As I have been reporting, she is still busy with her Vegas "Jazz and Piano"
residency. That's why it is extremely unlikely we'll get the single friday...

There is a 5 page long piece about them in the new edition of Germam magazine Der Spiegel, I bought it earlier but honestly you can save your money lol except for like 3-4 new quotes from interviews conducted the day after Hackney Diamonds was announced, there wasn't anything too worthwhile or new about it. The majority of the text was spent telling all the old stories about how the Stones started out, all the drugs in the 70s, he complained about Cocksucker Blues and babbled about how he accidentally hugged Keith and how Keith smelled really nice and fresh Grin

anyway the best quotes imo came from Mick about Steve and answering the question whether Rockstars are heroes, I translated them:

"It was just me and him. I took my guitar or played the piano and sang my songs - or screamed them to him. Like this we managed to get into the groove. To get the bass drum and the lyrics right is really important. The singer always has a close relationship with the drummer. That's what I had with Charlie and I wanted to have it again now. Steve did understand."

"The rockstar is just a footnote of the classical hero. Rockstar heroism is fake. You don't live like this, you aren't this person, it's just a role you're playing. True heroes don't have a break, in literature or in real life; for example someone who has to fight in the war. The true hero has to be at his post 24 hours a day. That's something entirely else. I'm not in a position like Homer's heroes. Or the Urkainian presiden Selenskyi. Each decision he is making is a decision about life and death. His entire day is like this, his entire week. Those are decisions we don't have to make. To answer the question: no, we aren't heroes."

Oh what also was interesting was Mick saying he wrote lyrics for about 25 songs and at first his goal was to write about the current, angry state the world is in, but somehow those songs remained that are about personal relationships, also within the band

Gaga Daily is an unofficial fan account. And a damn good one,
and the biggest I know of, with 552K followers. Yes, Gaga Daily has
referenced "Sweet Sounds" but has NOT suggested any release date...

From Gaga herself, as I mentioned earlier, not a whisper. We're here
talking about the single, the Stones are talking about it, her fans are
talking about it, the media too, even Stevie Wonder has mentioned it,
but only the sound of silence thus far from the great lady herself.
