The last I'd heard of Elton and Keith not getting along was Elton shooting some tiny digs at Keith in his book when I read it last year, but it was nothing really...I think they're over that
Tbh I also think, concerning Mick and Keith, that since Keith isn't drunk anymore 24/7 he stopped running his mouth and babbling dumb shit so he doesn't randomly offend Mick anymore...these past few years they've only said very sweet things about each other in interviews that lets you know how much they love and respect each other
Big line in the sand drawn after the 'tiny todger' furore in 'Life'
Supposedly,, that was easily the closest they've come to calling it a day since the mid 80's.
It took a fair bit of contrition on Keith's part for Mick to work with him again.
Its noticeable that since they did in 2012, a lot of the changes have been on Mick's terms - sober guitarists, no Blondie Chaplin, etc.
I've read some really interesting comments by Mick and Keith once about that whole mess up about Life. As it seems, the gutter press (as always) has blown this up (and sometimes still does if they have nothing better to write about for clickbait) WAY out of proportion. Like apparently Mick and Keith talked about it, Keith apologised, they talked stuff out and then had a base to go on again after this better than the years before because they finally just talked, which I guess lead to the never ending touring phase since 2013...
Here I found it again, it's from a 2012 interview:
Keith: (Mick) and I have had conversations over the last year of a kind we have not had for an extremely long time and that has been incredibly important to me. As far as the book (Life) goes, it was my story and it was very raw, as I meant it to be, but I know that some parts of it and some of the publicity really offended Mick and I regret that.
Mick: Looking back at any career you are bound to recall both the highs and the lows. In the 1980s for instance Keith and I were not communicating very well. I got very involved with the business side of the Stones, mainly because I felt no one else was interested, but it's plain now from (Life) that Keith felt excluded, which is a pity.
