to appear in the feeds of some "small potatoes" reactors. Hopefully the
big influential reactors get it soon

-- i am happy to report that so far the "small potatoes" reactors, most of
whom have never heard a Rolling Stones song ever, are overwhelmingly
calling the song and/or vid "dope" and/or "a banger"

-- bottom line: we still got a (good?) chance for a miracle Top 5 hit

-- I can also report that so far Gaga's fan base is as unethusiastic as
Stones fans about her teaming up with them.  I'm not sure why that
fact makes me smile

on Swedish TV4". Yeah, and I bet I go gaga over it...

A, yeah, but whatever somebody else's motive is doesnt make any difference
to me personally. I'm no purist, I just want the fucking thing to succeed
big-time, by hook or by crook (although it is well known that the Alabama
coach is a HUGE Stones fan, so maybe that was a factor?)

Related: Probably few here care about the following, but its a big part
of my figuring.  And I'm gonna try to not post too many of these reaction
videos as they come in, but they do give perspective.

This African-American adult reactor, with 15K followers (still "small
potatoes") has 1) never heard a Stones song, 2) owns a tongue t-shirt
but didnt know it had anything to do with the Stones 3) doesnt generally
listen to rock or blues music, but 4) has a thing for Sydney Sweeney

This dude's reaction (and a hundred others like him) is absolutely crucial
to the commercial fate of the Stones, and is MUCH more important than
any of my brilliant rants or speculations...

Addendum: There's another issue that's unclear to me (and it
may be the key to "why weds?"). Under current Billboard rules, each
song on an album counts towards its numbers as a single (but only if it
has been released as a single). So will all these album pre-orders each
count as a single sale for Angry? I don't know, but if so, it could
be that this past weds/thurs album pre-orders were anticipated to be
strong enough to give Angry all the help it needed to make a
big first-week splash on the Hot 100 (and still preserve this
weekend's album pre-orders to help Angry again next week)

In other words, the Weds release could have been strategic, to spread
the benefits to Angry of album pre-orders across two weeks,
instead of it all getting concentrated in one...

Hmm. Suddenly i'm thinking this Hot 100 tuesday could be
a very exciting day

Addendum 2: Wow! Just shocking the negativity towards
Angry at iorr-org. I got a feeling there are Rocks-Off people also
who ain't too crazy about it, but have decided to be chill about it for
the time being and wait for the album or wait for the Hot 100 or
wait and hold their fire for whatever reason. If so, thank you for
this courtesy, it is deeply appreciated

the key questions about whether album pre-sales count towards
Angry's numbers, or where he's getting his sales vs streaming percentages

georgelicks, please, again, the most critical question: Do all these album
pre-sales count towards Angry's numbers? Your comparisons with "ghost
town" may not be appropriate because there was no accompanying
album pre-sales for "ghost town" nor, unlike now, any physical sales
of the single

Also, georgelicks,  you say Angry is not eligible for the US charts
til Sep 19. But what about weds/thurs sep 6-7 (the two-day week)?
Is that not eligible for Sep 12? And what about my question, WHY did
they release this on a weds instead of the normal friday?
