If he can still jump around and it doesnt detract from the performance, more power to him.
If anything, his onstage singing improved dramatically from 1989 when he toned down the over the top posturing and arse wiggling that had been the norm on previous tours and which made him sound winded after about half an hour. He learned how to pace himself better from then on, whilst still remaining a fantastic entertainer.
When you're touching 70 though, its time to let the music do the talking a little more than it already does at present, instead of relying on people gasping in awe at how fit you are for your age and how dazzling the spectacle is.
Mick's still an incredible performer even when he's performing on a tiny stage. Watch that Double Door club footage from Chicago in 1997 and see what I mean.
