Shattering news. Tom was one of the first friends I ever made online - back in the pre-Rocks Off era when we used to post on the Stones' official message board during the Bridges to Babylon tour.

He literally was the life and soul of EVERY party and one of the funniest, most irreverent people you'll ever meet.

18 years later I still burst out laughing at that 'Sai Wong' fake ID stunt he pulled to get into the Beacon Theatre show.

Shocking news indeed. I got to meet Tom and hang out in Pammy's backyard and at Chess studios back in 2005ish before a show at Soldier Field. Seemed like he was there whenever there was a gathering or summit.

Tom was one of the nicest, genuinely FUNNY bastards I have ever met.

We met at one of the annual Shidoobee Brunches in Georgetown DC
that StonesDoug hosts every year.
Been drunking and Stoning together ever since whenever we were in the same vicinity.

RIP Sai Wong

I never had a sibling, but I had a Brother. He left this world yesterday & takes with him a part of me. Thank you dearest Tom for all the love & support & laughs & goid natured teasing. Such a huge loss. Such a great guy…crazy as fuck, he had no filter whatsoever, but that’s what made you love him.
Every call, or every text would begin with “Hi honey, how are ya?”. And they would end with “Fuck you, you Chicago cunt!”, in that raspy cackle of his. God love him.

I know Paula and Nanky have been thrown the hardest blow over this. I have some great memories of being with all of them watching Tom, just be Tom.
