Shattering news. Tom was one of the first friends I ever made online - back in the pre-Rocks Off era when we used to post on the Stones' official message board during the Bridges to Babylon tour.
He literally was the life and soul of EVERY party and one of the funniest, most irreverent people you'll ever meet. 18 years later I still burst out laughing at that 'Sai Wong' fake ID stunt he pulled to get into the Beacon Theatre show. RIP my friend |

He was one of us since the early days, well, before Rocks Off was even conceived He was a very good friend, he even stayed at my home for almost one week in 2006 |

Shocking news indeed. I got to meet Tom and hang out in Pammy's backyard and at Chess studios back in 2005ish before a show at Soldier Field. Seemed like he was there whenever there was a gathering or summit.

Tom was one of the nicest, genuinely FUNNY bastards I have ever met. We met at one of the annual Shidoobee Brunches in Georgetown DC that StonesDoug hosts every year. Been drunking and Stoning together ever since whenever we were in the same vicinity. RIP Sai Wong Thank you for the awesome memories. |

I never had a sibling, but I had a Brother. He left this world yesterday & takes with him a part of me. Thank you dearest Tom for all the love & support & laughs & goid natured teasing. Such a huge loss. Such a great guy…crazy as fuck, he had no filter whatsoever, but that’s what made you love him.
Every call, or every text would begin with “Hi honey, how are ya?”. And they would end with “Fuck you, you Chicago cunt!”, in that raspy cackle of his. God love him. I know Paula and Nanky have been thrown the hardest blow over this. I have some great memories of being with all of them watching Tom, just be Tom. |

I got a call today giving me the terrible news. I had no idea that he was sick the past couple of years. The last few years we had contact with just a few texts and Christmas cards. Now I remember not getting one last year.
Reflecting on so many Stones concerts, meet and greets, and all those long weekends in Virginia. Wow, he was the nicest, craziest, fun loving person and of course the ultimate Stones fanatic. Cindy and I want to express our condolences to his family, friends, and the ton of his Stones friends with special thoughts to Al and Paula. In his honor I’m wearing a t shirt he had made with a quote he liked to use in the most positive way possible….Fuck you you fuckin’ fuck. RIP Tom. SO many TomL stories, laughs and memories. I will miss you forever my friend, thanks for including me in the poem (and thanks, Jini, for posting it). My love to Paula & Al and to all who knew and loved that crazy, wonderful Fucker. The $3 sports coat for a FL Ronnie art show bought at a yard sale, sleeping under sinks, inventing the Milhous Whore, The Doctor is IN, SWHOW, tadpole fountains and (special!) free egg roles (act now!!), the answer to "why 71?" on the t-shirt sleeve "it's 69 plus 2", creating the infamous Shocker Sisters, "Some Girls" at WW appearance, and sometimes just a beer and a laugh from outta left field would lift the party to newer heights. Things are a little less bright right now here on Earth but Heaven is lit & rocking, of that I am sure.
