We're in a tough situation but there's a recession on the way & raising taxes at this point would be foolhardy. Clearly, we'll need to cut gov't spending. As you might know, I work for the gov't & I can tell you there's plenty of room for cutting. It astounds me but under W, the staffing at my place has gotten top-heavy. I hope after McCain gets elected he does the right thing.
By lowering taxes! The largest most expansive economic growth ever was from 1981-1992. It's no coincidence that Ronald Reagan instigated it. The lower the taxes the more spending that takes place. This socialist crap that has been pushed down our throats is only the beginning should the Dems get complete control. They want to socialize everything! They fucked Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and know some fucktards want to hand over our health care to these same morons?!
With lower corporate taxes more jobs are created. Obama wants to raise them. With lower personal income taxes more cash is spent. Obama wants to raise them. Zero Capital Gains taxes means more jobs stay in the USA. Obama wants to raise them.
The problem that we face today is that sub prime mortgages were forced on banks. These banks quickly bundled these loans and sold them to an all too willing Fannie Mae. Fannie marked the loans down as revenue so that the board members could acquire massive golden parachutes. Now the banks and Fannie Mae knew damned good and well that the mortgages were a bust but that didn't stop them. Even when Bush tried 12 separate times to reel in the shell game. Then in 2005 John McCain cosponsored legislation to stop the madness! Guess who stopped that legislation from becoming law? Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and the Democrats that were making out like bandits from the kickbacks. Chief among those receiving these kickbacks was Barrack Hussein Obama!!!!! Which group was largely responsible for insisting on loans being granted to lower income earners and inner city minorities that could never afford them? ACORN!!! This is the same group that Obama was lead attorney for!! This is the same group that is now under federal investigation for voter fraud!! What does it take to make people see the truth?!
So tell me again. What exactly has Barry done to inspire the confidence of the American public that he is ready to be POTUS?! I can list at least a dozen reasons that he shouldn't even be in the running, but there are many ignorant idiots that refuse to look at any of that. Partisan/Bush hatred rules the day for these idiots.

Cutting taxes only works with corresponding cuts in spending. Seeing as how we are INCREASING spending on bailouts and wars there is less and less in the treasury. Papa Bush was a fiscally responsible conservative and raised taxes to pay for the Reagan deficits. Clinton's two terms saw incredible growth in the economy and job creation all with higher tax rates than we have now. The current Bush administration has cut taxes and increased spending, why don't we have the same growth that Reagan had? I ask again; where does this magic money come from that clearly hasn't come from the Bush tax cuts?
