Idk it just seemed a bit strange to me, cause well-informed people said the tour would start in the beginning of June, so I assumed if they stuck with their usual pattern, the tour would be in June and July like last year, but seeing that it was mentioned now it would run all the way through September I just was musing that maybe they'd do things differently this time (since they're very likely bringing the new record on the road) and maybe play early June-mid July (aka about 10 shows) in North America, then take a 4 week break and go on to play another 10 shows or so in South America or Europe or even Australia/NZ idk...but we'll only see what's actually gonna happen once they're gonna publically announce the dates...but even if it's "just" NA, it sure won't only be 15 shows this time around if the tour is gonna run for longer than the usual 2 months they have been doing the past years
It says 'all through the summer' though. No mention of September, let alone the end of September. Early June to end of August would be maybe 12-13 weeks, so even with a week off thats maybe 20 shows max. The US is their biggest market and with a new record to push, they're not going to go there for just ten shows.
Outdoor shows in the southern hemisphere will always be in the summer in that part of the world. If the Stones are going to play concerts in the first 2-3 months of the year, it'll be in one or both of those markets.
