I hope I am wrong, but I think the two are incredibly unrelated...even if they were to start on the same day...don't expect this to be the SF tour or 72 tour revisted.
They may break out CYHMK with Taylor (if he is on the bill) and perhaps an occasional Dead Flowers...but other than BS and Bitch...you won't get much else...at least not billed as something off SF.

I don't doubt at all the two will be mentioned in the same paragraph...I was talking about being promoted that way by the Stones machine. Especially since I would say more than half the venue is probably unfamiliar with the album...oh...they know BS and Bitch...maybe another song...but not a reason to promote the two as one.

The Stones' idea of 'touring behind a Sticky Fingers reissue' will more likely than not be something along the lines of the 'album themed' shows on the Licks tour - ie, play about four of the best known songs on the record back to back and then get on with the rest of the show.

Anyone thinking that Mick is going to spend 50 minutes of a Rolling Stones show in 2015 singing a 10-song suite of songs including You Gotta Move, Sister Morphine and Moonlight Mile is living in cloud cuckoo land.

Didn't think there'd be many actual out takes from Sticky Fingers for the reasons I mentioned previously but it's a bit surprising that there seems to be none at all - just a few alternate takes.

Five songs from the Roundhouse - a bit of a curate's egg I suppose. They're clearly using it to fill a disc and it's frustrating it's only a few songs and not the full show. But it's never been available as a professional recording previously so that's something

They're mentioning the 'get your Leeds lungs out' bonus material as a 13-track set, which is intriguing and promising - because the long circulating bootlegs from the broadcast and soundboard sources have only ever included 11 songs.

The first two songs performed that night - Jumpin jack flash and Live With Me - weren't included on the radio broadcast and have never been bootlegged.

Yep. Theyve obviously chosen not to polish up or rework a few of the leftover songs (or instrumentals) this time.

If (like me) you're not that interested in all the gimmickry and are only in it for the music, its basically an extra £50 (or about $80) to get the extra CD with the Leeds show that features the two uncirculated songs. Oh, and they're giving us bonus DVD footage - two songs from the Marquee show.

James Karnbach offered them video of the two songs from the long-lost Top of The Pops broadcast of 'Bitch' and 'Wild Horses' which pretty much no one has seen since 1971 - but they declined. Sad

The Super Deluxe looks very overpriced, to be honest. Think I'll be keeping my eyes on Amazon Germany again - they came up trumps for me for the 'Grrr' boxed set and the 6-CD version of the recent Dylan 'Basement Tapes' set.
