I had to work and missed the 78 Buffalo show (no 4th in Canada). Sent my younger cousin and his friends on a bus deal and the show blew their minds. He took this pic for me which hangs in my house here in Atlanta.

I wish that I knew what I know now when I was younger.......Stones were not to play anywhere in NE that tour....so a buddy & I struck out on my '67 Fairlane Convertible with 8 Jensen Speakers & every Stones lp on 8 track for Buffalo. I purchased tickets at Ticketron in the Natick Mall, at Sears & we were golden. Hoofing Jack Daniels & Miller smalls, those 8 oz bottles & who knows what else the whole way. Base camp was a Holiday Inn Amherst NY, we put drapes over the lights & played our acoustic gitars and harmonicas all night long. Stopped in some diners in Buffalo.. Took a road trip to the El Mocambo to visit the hallowed ground day before the show....Was on the floor at the show, wound are way up to the stage, Jagger wore that Destroy shirt...So I could have seen GK in Toronto & LJ at the show......Queue up Ooh La La......
