"Let it Rock" is there because it was a b-side on the "Brown Sugar" single (RS 19100, released some days before Sticky Fingers, on April 16, 1971) As far as I know it has never appeared in any version of Sticky Fingers, not even as a bonus track however it was the third song to appear as part of the "Sticky Fingers" release. It was recorded live - Leeds University on 13 th March 1971 and released one month and three days after on 16 th April 1971! As far as I remember, 'Let it Rock' replaced the banned 'Sister Morphine' when the album was first issued in Franco-era Spain. The album cover was changed there too. Yes, it did but it was also in the British (and European) version of the first single. Since the very first edition RS-1900 released in the UK, the single had “let it Rock”, the cover only showing Brown Sugar and Bitch, so this was the sequence of covers: 16th April 1971, the single issued in this picture sleeve Some days later, on April 23rd the original cover, check the location of the legends “Rolling Stones” and “Sticky Fingers” Then the Spanish banned version with “Let it Rock” instead of “Sister Morphine” (Glad Spanish censorship didn’t read the lyrics of other songs LOL)
