Well she certainly did considerably better than with Couric. Yikes.
Without prejudice and certainly without choosing sides. I have not even registered to vote because I am still so unsure. Here is how I saw her performance:
Clearly the majority of Sarah Palin's politics and debate verbiage consists of her speaking based on ideals rather than the issues or questions at hand. For almost every question she was asked she gave a "general statement answer" and kept coming back to these items:
1. She beleives in doing what is right for the country versus doing what is right for the party.
2. She has experience in being a Governor of a state with tons of natural resources.
3. She fought the oil companies.
4. McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick, McCain is a maverick.
She did better than I thought she would do based on the Couric interview.
It is clear that she (like myself to a point. So in a sense I relate...without giving an excuse for her) can speak and debate more easily to a crowd, or within a group of people than a one-on-one debate or critical interview. This is what her problem seemed to be.
*Biden was very cordial, and actually very nice to her????????? Can you beleive that. I thought he would surely come out with guns a blazing. Maybe he figured it might appear he was picking on a woman and would lose more than gain if he was real tough on her.
I could not believe it. He actually seemed to really like her. I just know he did. It was pretty obvious. Is it because he respects Mccain so much?
