Must have been WQXI.
My sister won a radio contest they had. The prize was a letter from George Harrison.
She got the letter, a letter from George to the station manager concerning some promotion or business matter.
That was the "letter from George Harrison" they gave away!
wow. does she still have that? I wouldn't know cuz I was so scared of acid rock. I obeyed my dad back then...
this was around the time my mom came home from school teaching one day on the back of someguys motorcycle and our babysitters were reading e.e. cummings to us gave us love beads and we put flower power stickers all over everything. did you have a sissy bar on your bike? we painted paisleys on the patio that year . 68 was really a fun year

I was seven years old in '68, and yeah, I remember having a sissy bar on my five-speed.
I lived off Johnson Ferry Rd, lots of hills to ride that bike on.
I doubt my sister still has that letter. She's moved around a lot and never been very organized.
Probably couldn't find it if she still has it.
I'll ask her next weekend since I'll be visiting family in Atlanta.
