And the Russkies launch yet another war to aid the pockets of colonists left in the border nations that gained their freedom from Moscow. This should be nipped in the bud immediately as the same rationale for their going into South Ossetia exists with the Kaliningrad oblast, the breakaway Trans-Dneistrian 'republic', and all the Baltic states. If I were prez, I'd be redeploying a division from Baghdad up to Mosul pronto and be better arming those Kurds (fuck the Turks). The Bear is still very much a danger and its component/subject peoples deserve their freedom.

US volunteer army & other military resources are currently being stretched bone thin in Iraq & Afganistan. Plus there is real danger brewing in Iran and Pakistan.

US simply CAN't AFFORD another quasi military conflict. Plus, it is in US's best interest to maintain some sense of decorum with Russia especially now, before the election.

Russians are not the case of the Georgian-Osetian war!!! What the hell are you talking about??? That's Georgia's fault which is appreciated by the US politics Shocked

Osetia didn't want to join to Georgia after the USSR breakup, and its South part is an autonomy, although Georgia thinks that Osetia must be theirs. That' s why Georgia began the war! So US politics think that Russians must give Osetia to Georgians in case to launch fight with Russia again. South Osetia can be the separate country just as Kosovo does, it even has more rights for that !!!!

Bull. Russia has injected settlers and colonists into all its bordering states just so it make claim to 'save' them when the border states actually start acting independent. They pulled this crap in Trans-Dneistria and the Ukraine and the Baltic States. Russia is an imperial state that should be further broken up. Saving the subjugated peoples of the Bear is a lot more legitimate role for the US than dealing with the eternal desert tribal conflicts to the south. Our foreign policy being dictated in Tel Aviv has left us in this predicament.

No shit... If China adjusted its currency, to match the rest of the world, they would cripple Europe and obliterate the US economy. Now one might ask, why would they do that to their biggest consumer? It wouldn't make sense, and that is correct.
At the same time, China also still has a huge nuclear arsenal, that could also obliterate us in another sense. Anyone who feels secure on either level, is a fucking fool, and anyone who thinks the past 7 1/2 years of flawed policy haven't made this worse is so fucking ignorant, you deserve lead based, poorly made Wal Mart crap!

I agree with you on Clintons, although the current has bailed out certain companies and done nothing to save manufacturing jobs here, or create incentives to turn around old industries to meet new demands for new technologies. I'm not even that smart, and this is blatant to me.
The need is there, the oppurtunity is there and it benefits the working middle class and does much to assure a better future.

And I agree with you too. I don't understand the tax breaks for companies that export manufacturing jobs. There are some people of limited means/intelligence who can only work those jobs.
