To me Alice Cooper sort of died when the original band broke up in '74, that's A.C. to me, that band could sell out Maple Leaf Gardens, or if they were around today, the Air Canada Centre, now Alice has to play way out of the place auditoriums, which holds hardly nothing, if it was Bowie or Elton John they could sell out the biggest places today, but it's kind of sad what Alice has become, compared to the fame he had in the early 70's, to some people he's just somebody who likes to dress up in a Halloween costume, the real band to me is the 4 other guys who made that name famous, who were together right from the beginning, the only solo album he did that I liked was Welcome to my Nightmare.

The Rolling Stones ain't just a group, their a way of life-Andrew Loog Oldham.

all in all even if he can't or is not able or doesn't sell out big places anymore it is a good thing he is still touring. he is still big in my books.

Go watch his show and report back. The ACG certainly wrote better songs, but his current group is far better live than the ACG, even with scaled down sets.

He did 100+ shows in the US last year and is doing Canada this year. A bigger ACAS production will likely do 100+ dates in the US next year.

Unlike The Stones or The Who, his crowds stand the entire show and he rocks harder and brings more energy than both these days.
