Pats played a tough, grueling game vs. The Phins
Pats played well on special teams, offense.
Still have some work to do on defense.
Luckily, no injuries, however potentail loss
of Matt Light due to suspension for fighting could hurt
Many will be using the hot tub today for the defensive
battle which took place.   Matt Cassel was outstanding.
He is connecting with Randy Moss like a veteran, with this
only being his 11 ever NFL game.  # 75, Vince Wilfork had
a great game, in the face of the Pennigton all day.  Wes Welker
is not human, being flattened by Crowder, only to return after
missing one play.   All of the Florida players stepped up yesterday
for the Pats, Gaffney, Merriweather, Wilfork.  The wildcat offense
of the Phins was not to be...

Onto a well rested Stillers team for a good old fashion
showdown Sunday at 4 at the Razor.  Be there!

Shake out week end with some pretenders falling to the wayside. Pats and Indy heating it up for the stretch while Winslowpud was last seen wrestling Crennel for the last donut.Jets looked good too but Giants remain the clear #1.Is it me or does Jay Cutler look like the biggest suck to ever don a helmet? My Top 5 right now:

1.Giants
2.Titans ( hey one loss)
3.Jets
4.Pats
5.Colts

On the horizon with still hope:
Steelers
Ravens
Bucs
Dallas
Falcons
Cards
Packers

I would agree maybe not in the same order.  How huge the game this weekend?  Pats coming on strong and looking to make a run for it.   While the Steelers just seem to be going through the motions, offense looks flat and finding a way to win with strong defensive play.  Looks like we got the Pats just when they are hitting their stride.

Yes the Pats look sharp with OLine issues behind them and Cassell getting really comfortable. I look at it this way....we pull it out and we have a real shot. Lose or get blown out (which we have avoided to date) and the party's over. But I have this nagging feeling the bailing wire is gonna come off and Steelers get exposed.Plus we never play worth a shit when Nance the "I never give Steelers any credit" announcer is doing the game.I see Welker I see Moss..I see another Razor loss.....

First 11 games for Tom Brady 2001, record was 8-3
First 11 games for Matt Cassel, 2008, record is 7-4
If not for losing a coin toss last week, Cassel would have been 8-3

Upward & Onward

Can someone check on Joey Porter, as he was not talking after
the game yesterday.  JB?

Nelly, I dont miss him as we seem to have found 2 pretty good outside backers in Harrison and Woodley.Plus his yap with no backing it up got old. When he needed a posse in Vegas to jump Levi Jones pissed me off too. Hey just hope this visit to Razor we can give you a better game.Look way down at the end of our bench and you'll see Anthony Smith wearing his goat horns proudly.Lots of things to be decided yet and AFC is wide open to find the challenger for the Giants.
