The only reasonable change to the OT rule would be to guarantee each team at least one posession. But with TV schedules etc they arent about to change it.Just score more points in regulation and ya dont have to woorry about it.Lets see Steelers murders row schedule continues tomorrow with San Diego.Pats/Dallas/Ravens and Titans still to come with 3 of those on the road.Geeesssshhhh

11-10, 17-10, 18-10, I don't know.   What was the score.  I never heard so much over a meaningless touchdown.  Meaningless, usless money was on the game.  NFL may change replay rules.  Who said that the NFL has no interest in betting.

In my opinion, there are many aspects of the Goddell regime which resemble the Tagliabue regime.
In a word, crap.

Falcons have their hands full with the Panthers this week.
Panthers have had a good year, play tough in all three facets of the game.
Falcons need Micheal Turner early & often to break this one open.
Biggest game of the year for the GWH.
Gametime moved up on Sunday to the marquis spot.
Game is large.

Not Doug Flutie huge yet, but advancing.

i'm down with the bills to win tonight.

how about that overturned play during the last few seconds of the san diego [i think it was san diego] and steelers game yesterday?  an ilegal forward pass and the backwards laterals.  mike francessa was on about this issue for 2 solid hrs today.  he was saying the officials said the ball was dropped during the pass....no way it was and then another one was the 1st lateral pass was passed forward...no it wasn't.  that was a live ball all throughout that play.

did any of you fellas catch this play?  it was a big big deal.  bad officiating.

piss off

See my post above.  A lot to do about nothing, unless you had money on the game.  I was a waste of time to review the play.  The game was over.  Mike Tomlin even had that WTF look on his face.

No, no ticks.  That was the final play.  Game was over.  Just deciding the margin of victory.  I really think the ref did what he did because it meant nothing.  I'm sure the ruling would have been different if it happened at another time.

It just seems like the NFL is apologizing to Vegas and gamers who had some play on the game.  The NFL tells us they have nothing to do with betting, so why the big deal?  As Nellie posted in a word "Crap"!

i read on the interweb that yesterday's steelers game, according to elias, was the only game in the history of professional football (that's over 12,000 games, people) that finished with the final score of 11-10.

Correct.  Maybe the refs just wanted to be a part of such a huge historic occasion.

That was brutal.  Absolutely ruined my day.  I needed to see the game too, as from what I read, Ben was back in form despite no TDs.

We got the 'gals on Thursday on Prime Time, though.  Look for 35-0.  Our defense is freakin' incredible!

Ben looked decent.  Kenny Anderson type day,  All short stuff, that I am complaining.  If that is is all they give then take it.  FWP showed signs of his old self.  The short game sucked though.  All that being said, an average offense is all we need to win.  The D is incredbile.  A lot of talk about James Harrison being defensive NFL MVP.

I don't suppose he'll ever return to the form of his first two years, which is just bizarre.  But you're right, if he can play closer to Anderson than Kordell, we are contenders for Supe.

Funny, I did not see that.

It was cold, We justed wanted to go home.   A one pt win or an eight pt win, who cares?  Unless that ninth tie breaker comes into play.

They jobbed Polamalu out of an INT a few years back in a playoff game.  Jagoffs.

Not this one handed grab though.  Naw suh.
