Strange game in Diego.  Well played for the most part.

The outcome favors the Steelers.

So true.  We will play either Dan Diego or Miami now.  Much better than Indy or Baltimore.  I can't wait.  Gonna be a long week.  Stock up on the booze.

Weak effort.  Nothing to be proud of in Miami.  Skunkage.  The QB's name was Chad.

Titans should handle Ravens quit easily.  Flacco can't hang.

Steelers will biff the Chargers in all seven facets of the game.

Steelers-Titans in the AFC Bash, rematch of a few weeks ago, with all the $$$$$ on the line.

Bango.  Mondo bango.

I like Balt's chances at Titans.  Just a hunch.  Looks like that loss to the Titans was a blessing in disquise. Steelers match up better with SD than Baltimore.  Indy's loss yesterday was huge.

Pats gave a great effort, even though they lost their franchise player in the first game.   Phins looked like 1-15 team of last year.  Pats will be back next year.  Like the Steelers, they make the right decisions almost all of the time.

I watched Super Bowl X on youtube (its in 19 parts of 10 minutes each).  I'm insane.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i48K4zrGbwM

A lot of things struck me - some worth mentioning.

1. I was surprised that the level of play is pretty much the same as today.  That Steeler defense would be the best in the league today.  Those guys were everywhere.  Both teams were good, and would easily compete today.

2. The game was nowhere near as close as I remembered it, or the score seemed to indicate.  The Steelers dominated the entire game, stuffed Dallas, big plays all day, and had all the momentum.

3.  In contrast, its depressing how much the game today is about grandstanding and celebrating.  Both the Steelers and Cowboys would make a strong play and then get up and hustle back to the huddle.  No idiotic dancing around just because you made a tackle or caught a pass.

4.  Bradshaw - his last TD to Swann was 65 yards, in the air, perfect spiral, and right on the money.  Nobody - not Marino, Elway, Manning, etc. - could huck like that.

5.  One interesting bit of Hollywood Henderson talking to himself on the bench, who we now know was high as all fish.
