This is all part of the disease of Alcoholism. It is cunning, baffling and powerful. He is a meetings person and it sounds like
he is not working his program. But relasping is not hard for a drunk. If he does not stop he will be dead -for a drunk it is
Dry or Die. If he wants to continue to do "research" out in the field he will do so. He has to make up his mind to want to
stop drinking. No one said it would be easy, it is NOT!! Many decades ago I had a 42 year old cousin, who was a raging
drunk, involved in several car accidents, retired from the Fire Department. They found him sitting in his kitchen with
his head way back and had choked on his tongue!! Drunk of course. Ronnie has to either hit a worse bottom or get in
a good rehab place maybe longer than 2 months to get it through his head. It is entirely up to him if he wants to
remain sober or drink himself to death. I pray he makes it.

It has been over 10 years for me and I dream of drinking and think about it, but I can't anymore. And working
the AA program or whatever program works is what will keep you alive.

Resentment is like taking poison and expecting someone&&else to die!&&&&If you are talking about me behind my back then&&you are in a position to kiss my ass!&&&&Just because you're sitting in a henhouse doesn't make you a&&chicken!&&&&Sweet Lil' Innocent Brian!

Really? I don't go to the movies that often. The best theater around is in Homestead, and they shoot people there. Even inside the theater. I was going to meet Highwire Rob there for SAL, but I could not make it. We maybe both alive to this day because of that.
