Pattie Harrison (Boyd) had a short fling with Ronnie, while George had one with Krissy.
British Press Report, Monday November 26, 1973
Ronnie Wood briefly spoke to the press as he was leaving his home: “It’s (romance with Pattie) definitely on... Things
will be sorted out in a few days. We’re going to talk it out between us and hope to get a
happy arrangement. Meanwhile, Pattie has gone back to her home and will be talking to
George about it. I won’t be seeing her today.” Wood drove off in his sports car, returned
and hour later and said to the press, “There is nothing I can tell you now.”
That night George denied that his marriage was breaking up. He dealt abruptly with
rumors about his seven-year marriage to Pattie. At his luxury home George carefully read
through the statement made by Ronnie Wood which confirmed reports of a romance with
Pattie. The former Beatle told the Daily Mirror--
“Whatever Ronnie Wood has got to say about anything, certainly about us, it has nothing
to do with Pattie or me! Got that? It has nothing to do with us - her or me!” Pattie also
read the statement made by Ronnie Wood. She smiled, but said nothing.
An excerpt from Bebe Buell's autobiography:
It was as elite a party as the Swan Song party in L.A. had been, with the curious absence
of any females other than myself, Beatrice, and Pattie Boyd, the woman Eric Clapton had
written “Layla” for. George Harrison had written countless songs for her, and every English
rock star I encountered, except Keith, appeared to want to be with her. Woody was madly
in love with her. Mick couldn’t understand why she went to bed with George Harrison,
Eric, and Woody but wouldn’t go to bed with him!
