pablo aca lo puedes comprar los dvd s del
programa music scene http://www.amazon.com/Music-Scene-Best-1969-1970-Vol/dp/B00005AVZRThis is a TERRIFIC series. I couldn't find any info on this short-lived music show in my reference books but it DID exist! An eclectic mix, to be sure. As the cover says "A 4 hour super concert of the era's (1969-70) best music" and that's pretty close to the bone. We have stax of live performances including James Brown, Frankie Laine, John Mayall, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Moms Mabley, Davy Jones, Johnny Cash, Tony Bennett, Chuck Berry, Pete Seeger...., Groucho is in fine form as he does a number and clowns around with host David Steinberg. (Why does this guy remind me of Andy Kaufman??) Steinberg does comedy bits and ad libs with the guests between numbers and each of the four shows ends all too quickly. There are 21 bonus tracks (Sonny James, Zager & Evans, 3 Dog Night, Della Reese, etc)
and some super-rare promos for the show by non other than The Rolling Stones. All episodes are in color and we get to enjoy those late-60s fashions all over again. Steinberg's ties and wide shirt collars are just wonderful to see and a tie-dyed John Sebastian?...
pobre niño quien lo llega firmar charlie y taylor ??
