'Dreamy Skies' was also rehearsed last week.

So, they've rehearsed at least 9 of the 12 songs on the new album

The only ones that I don't know that have been worked on are 'Get Close', 'Driving Me Too Hard' and 'Rolling Stone Blues'

Maybe 'Driving me too hard' is a bit too similar to 'Tumbling Dice' ?

I'm not saying they havent rehearsed those songs Just saying that I havent seen them mentioned.

I havent seen any lists of rehearsed songs prior to this week.

Interesting that 'Satisfaction' isn't on the above lists.

'Start Me Up' and 'Get Off Of My Cloud' opening the sessions on two out of three days this week suggests to me that maybe they're leaning towards that as the opening two songs

However, the first show is ten days away. Probably about 5-6 rehearsal days still to come. They'll presumably move things to Houston early next week and what you get after that will be akin to dress rehearsals.

There you got Satisfaction! tho tbh I wouldn't even be surprised if they never really rehearsed it, seeing how Keith can basically play it in his sleep

People who have been at the rehearsals said they didn't play RSB and DMTH but idk about Get Close, nobody mentioned it so far, so maybe they rehearsed it after all some day

But it's definitely so cool that they're rehearsing stuff like She's so cold or Monkey Man, would be great to hear those live!

Tbh I'd take Sad Sad Sad over songs like Let's Spend the Night Together, Like A Rolling Stone or YCAGWYW any day seeing how it's one of my fave workout songs and I haven't heard it live yet in contrast to the others that I've heard live multiple times and are among the more boring ones for me...

If I could get to hear any song of Steel Wheels, I'd prefer Mixed Emotions or Almost Hear You Sigh tho

We should be rehearsing Get Close. We should open with Get Close- it's in the name! Can you imagine! That song will sell more albums!

I don't think they'd put songs on the vote list that they haven't rehearsed, like what's the point of that Oo ...also yeah that's why I said, either cut out the song vote completely, or let people vote for songs that aren't getting played all the time as rotation songs anyway like Wild Horses...

I think they did ER in 2019 or 2021, didn't they? Or did I dream that lol...but with the way Mick's voice is sounding on HD, I don't think he'd have trouble with it...he also does falsetto in that "oh yeah" back and forth with Gaga on SSOH

But who would the marketing be targeted to? True fans who care about these rare cuts already got their tickets and shows planned out and wouldn't just spontaeously go to a show based on a song vote...and all those random radio fans wouldn't spontaneously go to a show based on the song vote, loads of them probably don't even know it exists

Also thanks, that's neat, I had no clue those sites exist maybe I got it mixed up, they didn't play ER in 2019 or 2021 but they played Monkey Man 3 times in 2019 and once in 2021...

So it truly seems to have been 2013 (Hyde Park) when they last played ER...they last played Worried About You in 2014, I'm still annoyed that I didn't come to Düsseldorf back then when a friend asked me to, but I was going to uni and didn't have enough money

As PA says above, marketing is just to create a buzz. Its clickbait related. Its not aimed at the sort of people who go to shows wanting to hear stuff like 'Parachute Woman' or 'Winter'. This is a band whose media team posted stuff on facebook a few years ago asking people 'what songs do you want us to play on the upcoming tour' (and then proceeded to play the regular stuff anyway). Saying that, many of the replies were from gimps who were posting requests like 'Start Me Up' and 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' 

They first had a fan vote back in 1997. It was rigged even back then as well.

Lol true I remember that post about "which songs do you want us to play" it might have been in 2022 or maybe 2021 but it honestly was so frustrating to read the replies 

I don't suspect that the "come to Argentina" posts are bots, y'all know how the Argentinian fans are  had a bunch of them directly behind us at Hyde Park, felt like we were in a football stadium during the world cup final, it was quite fun worlds better than when people in Munich in 2017 got annoyed when we dared to stand up during a rock concert

McCartney was indeed there. No reports of him being at other rehearsals. He did leave before the rehearsals finished yesterday.

No chance they'll be working on more songs when theyre focussing on putting a show together

The running order of those songs would suggest they're now at a stage where a setlist is taking shape.

Of the 4 HD songs played, only 'Tell me Straight' hasnt been played yet. The other three plus 'Bite My Head Off' were played at the Racket Club. So, nothing new there for Mick to sing.

There might be a few tweaks yet. Yesterday was their last day in LA. On now to Houston for dress rehearsals.

Rolling Stones 2024 Rehearsal Reports (**Spoilers / Complete prototype setlists**)

After my reconaissance missions a few weeks ago failed to turn anything up closer to home I was finally clued in to the rehearsal location somewhere in Hollywood. Did a drive by late Sunday night with predictably no signs of anything but Monday spotted a few familiar faces and knew it was the place.

This time around it was a bit more low key compared to 2013 with less excitement and less people turning up.

There was a main street front entrance where the band arrived and where security was concentrated to escort them in and out. When Mick left, one of the bodyguards performed a nightly ritual of waiting until maximum traffic clogged the avenue, then walking out and stopping tit  with a flashlight so Mick could pull out and be instantly surrounded by vehicles. Miraculouly neither the bodyguard or any vehicles in the street were damaged but he deserves hazard pay especially with automobiles murdering pedestrians in Los Angeles on an almost daily basis.

Down a side street there was an unobstructed loading dock and a few vents that allowed for listening of very low volume with room for only a few people. So don't blame me for that setup which likely resulted in you not getting an invite.

I know this has been a big mess in Toronto in years past with large throngs showing up to hear or see something but here people hanging around or congregating in strange places doesn't even get a second look. Kinda like New York with rats, in Hollywood everybody knows they are less than 20 feet from a celebrity at all times. The most amusing sight Friday was seeing someone in a Stones shirt walking down the street, see all the people on the sidewalk and cross the street to avoid us, obliviously continuing on.

Turns out AC/DC rehearsed the same place and you could hear clearly outside. I asked someone who was there "did you they play anything not in the Indio setlist?" "I didn't see the Indio setlist." Would have loved more details to share but I can only work with what info I have! Not many historians among us. There were also people there listening for weeks prior but no one is posting the details. I have a friend who lives on that block who is going to keep an eye on the place but there are really few acts that can carve a set out of a list of 60 songs, trying and discarding from a sizeable back catalog.

At least the final week is where we hear the show come together. It's obvious they want to play a lot of new songs, keep rotating album cuts as well as the play the same songs they always do. Friday is when they reluctantly took out the scalpel and cut out some parts no one really wants to see go. They aren't going to play 4 hours and play an all new song / deep cut set at a random midwestern stadium show where the cost of admission is equal to a mortgage payment. My own preference is for as many new songs as possible but I am sure they going to give us a decent show regardless of what contents they ultimately choose to include.

Last 2 songs definitely structured as an encore.

Paul McCartney was spotted leaving in a blue Corvette. It was a pink one in 2013. Missed opportunity. Wish I could have taken you on a similar journey to 2013 but there wasn't really much to do but lean against the wall and write down songs in a very reduced time frame.

My friend, who was mistaken for a construction foreman for a job site on that block chatted up the truck drivers for a bit but they claimed to have no idea where they are headed or when they are leaving.

And I still have spare LD's for Houston and Glendale in exchange for logistical assistance (though Houston is mostly booked)

Worried about you or let's spend the night together in Orlando would be my dream.

As long as they don't play sad sad sad or sparks will fly

The general setup is the same as the Sixty stage, please oh please don't let them use that ghastly front again, would be weird if they just re-used that seeing how this is the Hackney Diamonds tour...

For comparison a screenshot from one of my vids from Gelsenkirchen 2022, the middle part with the roof is basically the same...the side parts with that black top look slightly different, so maybe not the Sixty stage after all, hopefully

Super set selection, yet - if you pardon my French - a drummy cunny-song is needed to replace Brown Sugar. I suggest I Go Wild.

Meanwhile, hoipeflully Teeth will do 'Let's Go Steady' as a lovely duo with someone..

did y'all see that video that was posted about the rehearsals? On FB they started an entire topic about Keith bringing his skull ring back...am I the only one who thinks that would be pretty impossible with the size of his arthrithis-stricken right ring finger and instead they just used some old video footage on here instead out of sheer laziness, I could swear I've seen some of those scenes before in other tour promo vids and they just re-used them xD

Cool, the intro sounds really good, tho it's a pity that those seem to be the IEMs of the keyboards as people have been musing, seeing how you can barely hear any guitars...well you can't always get what you want right xD thanks for sharing!
