This will be unique, specially if we see it this way:

Four live debuts
Full show, in the same order it was played
More than half of the songs played that day are debuts
The same four were played live before "the new album" goes on sale to the public (two of them had already been released as singles)
It is the raw sound of the original stones (two guitars, a bass, a drummer, keyboards and a singer, the only thing that is added to this original sound is a backup singer)
First official live album without Charlie

I'd imagine there would be. Whilst it was great to see and hear them on a stage again, they were (understandably) a bit rough.

To the best of my knowledge, theres no circulating audience audio of the full show yet, so this is welcome

Ha and before that they were in London together as I pointed out before and when I wondered whether they're up to something people just said they sure aren't gonna rehearse for 4 months LOL I called something was up^^

tbh tho with Macca there, could it be some overdubs for the soon to be released Racket CD? (or possibly also DVD later on?) idk...

Unlikely especially with the timeframe but hoping that they may finish the next album before the tour kicks off. It would make sense to do this to play new songs from two albums live. Christmas? Its 23 days away and theyve already announced another impending release!

Think its more likely they're working on songs that they can finish up after the US Tour next summer and release in time for wherever they're planning to tour in 2025.

No way will they tour the US next year behind TWO albums released six months apart. Makes absolutely no sense. Its hard to get audiences interested in songs off one new record as it is

Indeed. Unless you've never played an instrument before, theres no need to rehearse for a tour four months in advance

The Racket cd is out in 13 days. I'd imagine if theyve overdubbed anything it would have been done before now (maybe that London visit)

The McCartney story is just a rumour. Nothing confirmed.

when I looked to order it yesterday it said it would be available in mid-January...weird...maybe they have a different release date for Germany

But either way I'm thrilled that Mick and Keith are being all motivated and inspired to be creative these days and we'll see what will come out of this, but it's great to know they're spending time together and working on new stuff

Rumours are unconfirmed - and frankly, just a bit distasteful - that the Glims have spent the week on or in Florence Welch, that they spent time as plumbers looking for the stop-cock to stop Florence going further under-water (despite the line "The whole ****ing world is sinkin', sinkin;") and that Slack Mac joined them for Happy Days. with a vat of Chianti.

reading now that the rumoured 'Macca in Florence' story was bogus (made no sense as he's already contributed to another song that'll be on the next album)

Sky Sports just showed an ad for the new album prior to this afternoon's big Man City / Tottenham game, promoting it as the 'ideal Christmas gift'. Obviously another big push from UMG.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but this youtube channel has uploaded all 12 HD songs from the Dolby Atmos source

I havent listened to it that way yet as I need new speakers.

However, if you dont have surround sound and are just listening to the album on ordinary speakers, its an interesting perspective with Mick's lead vocal much higher in the mix and the back up vocals and some other instrumentation barely audible. Macca's bass on 'Bite My Head Off' is mixed way up from the start! The lead vocal on 'Live by the sword' seems to feature punched-in vocals from different sessions to me.
