Only Billy and Stu were alive during the whole WW II, Bill was 2 years 10 months old when it started and almost 9 years old when it ended, it's the only one of the Stones who can remember something, but all were educated during the postwar.

Last night, a new statue by sculptor Amelia Saint George was unveiled by Bill at Petyt Hall in Chelsea to mark the celebrated restoration of the Chelsea Embankment Gardens.
Attendees witnessed the unveiling of the beautiful bronze statue of a Dachshund leaping, entitled 'Walkies'.
