Fans will be given the opportunity to upload short video selfies of themselves
to celebrate the band, the performances, see themselves on the screen and
be seen by others across the globe, alongside the performance.

The event will take place on February 2 at 8pm GMT, with tickets on sale
from December 15.

US$10 (or equiv in your currency, e.g. as of now they are charging AU$14.92)

Hey! Maybe for the new massive multi-disk album, they can also give fans
the opportunity to have included their own version of a Stones classic,
to hear themselves and be heard by others across the globe.

Not too many fan covers though. 3 or 4 (out of 50 new tracks total) would
be enough I think.

I nominate this family from the Philippines, 150 thousand views in 2 weeks...

the Stones have millions of social media followers, very few of whom
have anything to do with this or any of the other old-fashioned fan forums

those millions are the target demographic, not us. And a decent-sized
subset of those millions are right now wearing their coolest Tongue shirts
and creatively filming their influencer selves for inclusion in the broadcast.
If they do make the cut, they will then re-broadcast their little clip to
their own hundreds or thousands of followers. Which is great advertising
for the Stones. It will help set the stage for THE ALBUM.

We can now expect the overuse of the word "Immersive".
I caught one of the "Immersive Van Gogh" exhibits this year (Incredible, BTW)...there are others for VG as well as other artists...

If it were done in that way, an Immersive Rolling Stones (Beatles, Floyd, Depeche Mode, Cure, etc) would be great to see...but this rings of utter garbage.
