Rarely seen Roman Polanski, 88, gets VIP treatment at Rolling Stones Paris show with his French actress wife Emmanuelle Seigner as LA prosecutors revisit 1977 Quaaludes and champagne rape case of 13-year-old girl

Polanski and Seigner were spotted at the Stones concert at the Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris
The pair married in Europe in 1989, 11 years after he fled America as a fugitive pending sentencing
Polanski admitted raping 13-year-old Samantha Geimer in 1977 while at Jack Nicholson's home in Los Angeles
He was awaiting sentencing when he fled, claiming he was the victim of judicial misconduct
Now, prosecutors and judges in Los Angeles are revisiting the 45-year-old case
Documents have been released which uphold Polanski's claim the judge reneged on a promise not to jail him
Polanski's attorneys want for him to be sentenced in absentia and bring an end to his fugitive status
The victim, now nearly 60, also wants for the case to be dismissed after years of delays
