Live, they would just rush the tempo and fuck up the mood - like when they turned Moonlight Mile and Sister Morphine into Tim McGraw songs. There always seemed to be a moment of embarrassment in each for Jagger while performing those arrangements.

Songs like this are NSFS (Not Suitable for Stadiums). Ventilator Blues, however, has seemed a lost opportunity for generations.
