Mick Jagger in Jamaica working on album
Jamaica Observer, Sunday, February 20, 2022
British rock icon Mick Jagger, one of the Rolling Stones' founders and lead singer, is in Portland, Jamaica, to complete an album.
The 78-year-old musician told the Jamaica Observer on Saturday while at the Port Antonio market that he was in the island to work on an album. He declined to speak about the project but offered that he was delighted to be in Jamaica, a country he always enjoys visiting. Without any sources, I can reveal that Mick has been joined by all the rest of the band in Jamaica and that the new album release is planned for April... please note Joss, Damian, and Dave all live part-time in Jamaica. Billboard even named Joss 2018's Reggae Artist of the year. Unfortunately SuperHeavy won't be touring to support the album, as all the artists have prior commitments.
But who knows, maybe some day and if that isnt enough good news, somebody else is coming back too...
