Former Stones (and Dylan) head of security Jim Callaghan popped up on the BBC's 'Antiques Roadshow' yesterday getting some of his memorabilia valued.  Good to see him after such a long time (he last worked with the Stones around 2002, I think)

Intriguingly, he did drop hints that he's putting his memories into a book at some point.

He did recall how Mick hugged him and thanked him for saving his life in Japan on his solo tour in 1988 when he made a horrendous error of judgement and decided to walk through the crowd

It seems a post on a Dylan facebook page that Jim has passed away was incorrect. I do understand that he's seriously ill. Hopefully he pulls through and recovers soon.

Unfortunately, Jim didnt survive his illness and passed away yesterday

Did he pass away? I checked the news before replying and couldn't find any, it was a rumor some days ago
