So about the thrust that is supposedly built into the stage for this tour ... Do you think it's the same exact get up / style as A Bigger Bang or will it be different somehow?

As well ... anyone heard anything about the stage / sound this time? I heard in 2005 the show and sound was great ... wonder with Fisher gone how it will be?

I will be based on the same concept they had in Europe, Australia (outdoor shows) and New Zealand last year. Maybe a slight facelift, and new video content. But basically the same.

Yes... a slight facelift and a thrust. How was the stadium shows last year? How was the sound? How was the show in general ...was it all still quite the spectacle?

My buddy said in 2005 the stadium show in Pittsburgh the sound was simply marvelous. As well he said it was such a great show in general... Wonder if it will be better technically sound wise (was ten years ago now...) Also I wonder how the lighting / stage show itself will compare?

How did last years stadium gigs compare to the stadium gigs in other tours (2005, 89, 94, 97, 2002 etc.)

Lol ...was speaking about Mark Fischer (I spelled his last name incorrectly ...my bad)... their (and the best) stage design engineer who recently passed away. He did their last stage with the arena set. Stadium gigs / design of last year was after he had already passed on.

I think its pretty safe to say that was all pre-recorded and those questions were pre-approved.

Apparently 'Sister Morphine' is a song they've never tried out before - which is quite something considering they released it on 'No Security'.

The only part I found interesting was how fucking miserable Charlie Watts is. I do love Charlie, but he really doesn't have much to be miserable about. I'm sure I've pumped enough money into his bank account to buy several of his 300 horses he talked about.

The rest of it was a total snooze fest, much like most of the recent interviews.
