(remember, I'm the only one who had the tour name
correct, before "festival forecaster", before BV)
I posted this pic earlier at shidoobee, pointing to an announcement of at least the Indy date at the 500 on May 25. Since I don't
think anybody commented (sorry if i missed it), perhaps people thought I was joking...
I wasn't. I've traced the photo back to a woman in Canada (@mfremillard) who seems to do hype for the entertainment
industry generally and the upcoming Stones tour particularly, with no further credit for the pic. According to Google,
the photo did not exist online before March 15. I'm virtually certain its an intentionally leaked clue, similar to how
certain things are being leaked to "festival forecaster".
As far as I'm concerned, the only question is if all the dates will be confirmed at the Indy 500 or just the Indy date.
I'm guessing the latter, but I don't have any evidence of that. I'm also guessing that the rest of the dates will
not be confirmed until at least mid-April. (When I guess, just in case I haven't been clear, I am not just pulling
something out of my ass, usually, but rather trying to apply what I know about how the game of hype is played)
I think this woman in Canada is also the source of that great Micky image somebody posted,
which causes me to now rate Orlando like Indy as an absolute lock for a show. I don't mean to say
by any means that all other shows are wide open, I don't think that, but I do think a number of things
could yet be bumped around...
(yes. just checked. this image didn't exist until march 13)
It means an official tie-in with Disney (how about that!) just like an official tie-in with the Indy 500.
So amazingly mainstream.
I don't know how these things work, but could there be an official
Stones fans night at DisneyWorld? My instinct says yes.
nothing at this link. yet.
