This is all I saw of Midnight Rambler on youtube, but THIS is the Rolling Stones. They enter zones sometimes where everything may not be technically perfect but the feel and tone are so amazing that it's almost transcendental. The interplay between the two Micks is quite wonderful:

Your post is the first that Ive noticed that they omitted it. I wonder was there a censorship issue.

Its very rarely left out. Yet there are some idiots who continue to insist that the Stones absolutely "have to" play all of these 7-8 'warhorses' every night. As if the audience are going to slash their seats after the gig because they didnt get to hear 'Satisfaction' or 'Start Me Up'.

Somebody in the Shidoobee FB group implied they are contractually obligated to play certain songs. Never heard that before.
