The Las Vegas song request slots will be one of these 5 songs, though :

Rocks Off, Beast of Burden, Dead Flowers, Sway, Moonlight Mile.

You know what to do!

Vote for Rocks Off.

If they come out with a live album later this year or next, it will give them a chance to straighten out that screw-up on Forty Licks.   Oh no! not you again

"Moonlight Mile" and "Sway" will split the serious fan vote; I predict "Beast of Burden" will carry the fair-weather vote.

Just got home after flying back from San Jose this morning. The show was incredible. Alot of surprizes in the setlist, plus awesome guests. When Mick Taylor came out for Satisfaction I was so hyped. I noticed Mick T. looked like he was apologizing to Ronnie during the final bow for not playing something right. Ronnie appeared to tell him don't worry about it and raised Mick T.'s hands for the applause. The show was amazing. All of the band looked very happy to be playing. I posted a bunch of pics on my FB. I was in the pit and it was definatley worth it. I've seen the Stones 17 times and if this was indeed the last time I get to see them what a way to go out.

You were in the pit too? Didn't see you.......of course I don't know what you look like. So that might be why. Wink

Damn right it is.  If you ask me, it's getting tighter with every performance.  The bridge is coming together more as it seems Mick has done some more brushing up with the song.  He's got the inflections down better than he did on Staples.

That's the first time I've heard Bitch without horns in a LONG time! MT's solo on Satisfaction made the tired old song a 100% better!Smiley And John Fogarty and Bonnie Raitt...by far the best guests and the best show so far! There are two excellent recordings up on DIME:

Day starts with an email that tells me my Oakland recording has been remastered and hosted on a site
I was not comfortable with. After some discussion, there was resolution on where/how this recording
will be publicly shared that is satisfactory to all. Then off to SF to pick up two friends for the
drive. Put Oakland in the car stereo for the drive down and We lucked out with traffic. Arrived by
5:30, connected up with my fellow tapers and listened to rest of show on car battery. Suddenly I
discovered I drained my battery. We were able to get a jump pretty easily since I had a few sets of
Oakland burned. Charged the battery and got in when doors opened. My friends had $85 mystery tickets
and scored the pit so everyone was happy. During Paint it Black through Gimme Shelter the guy to my
right kept accidently elbowing me right where I had my recorder so I finally typed a message in my phone
asking him to be careful as I was taping and I'd give him my last copy of Oakland. You may hear him tell
his buddy I was taping. He was good after that. Amazing show, far better than Oakland. Very nice
recording but not quite as good as Roger Waters from the same venue.

Other than the fact that Taylor didn't play the original "nasty solo" from "Bitch"...
