Guys, I'd love to go to these rehearsals, but work calls! I may have some time tomorrow to swing by, though... can any of you with the details on where/when send me a PM (Justin, Bluzdude, ijwthstd)???

It's been killing me not to have gone... reading the updates has been both amazing and depressing (because I'm not there!).

I am dead tired so it's just the setlist today. Bobby Keys is there now. He was there yesterday but I forgot to tell you. Maybe I am forgetting something else now but can always update this later. Several days straight of fast food for breakfast, snack food for lunch, fast food for dinner is starting to take it's toll. I hope I live long enough for the show.

How is it you are a mere few hundred feet from the Stones rehearsing, and you aren't getting arrested for trespassing?

I have really marveled at the self restraint we are talking.

Generally speaking, I am a very law abiding kinda guy.
Generally speaking.

But if I can hear the Stones, I know that I want to see the Stones.
I know this from 40 years of experience.

And so there you guys are, in LA, and you know that but for a few hundred feet of concrete, a highway, a plastic tarp, and a bunch of guys that crap bigger than you, -- you could be in the door!

The body guards know we are cool.
The guy who works across the street in one of the offices will come out and yell at us for stepping in his flowerbed - but that' about it
It's a real industrial area so you don't see cops unless they are called.

The only annoyance I saw when I was there were the Ebay people.

haha well, when you're there you find yourself wanting to be on your very best behavior just so they know you're cool and not causing a ruckus. Trust me, when you see Mick's bodyguard in person...there's not one little urge to run in there when you know you will be absolutely demolished by this guy. So that and the fact that you want to just hang out and listen to the tunes--really makes it easy to restrain yourself!

It's my duty to do what so many have done before me and that's write down the setlists and post them. Sometimes when it's noisier during the day and I am having a hard time making out the song, I wish I could move in just 10 more feet. That's the moment when restraint is necessary.

Also Stones security comes to the gate from time to time and knows who cool and who isn't. Charlie only came out when the cool people were there.

Be cool, be rewarded with something special.

Nothing and I mean nothing has me more excited about the Stones ever. I hope he joins on some of the post and pre stuff as well. To see him in person on stage with them will be the greatest Stones related experience I'll ever have.
