I scored for Chicago.  I'm trying not to freak out here but under seat location, it says GA2....could that be General Admission??

I bought two for Chicago (Friday 31st), mine says GA2 as well.  I'd say it is a generic label, and doesn't actually mean the pit.

I remember going to a Neil Young show and having some guy barge into the GA section (the whole floor was GA) about 2 songs into the show, ramming his way up front, screaming that he was in the "Front Row" and to get out of his way, because his ticket said "Row 1, Seat XX" (as did everyone's).  He then decided to push some woman over whose husband happened to be the tallest/biggest person in the venue.  He proceeded to just punch the guy in the face, VERY calmly, then turned back and kept watching the show as everyone congratulated him.  Then security saw the commotion, everyone pointed at the guy lying on the floor who had been punched, and he was kicked out.  Was quite funny.  The tall guy was a really nice, gentle giant as well.  Just don't mess with his wife.

I'm surprised how easy it was.  Maybe shows how much the scalpers/bots/guest list/promos take up.  I tried for $600, thought the result was crap ... way up the back of the lower bowl.  So tried for the $85 about 5 minutes after they went on sale, had to wait about 5-7 minutes, then they appeared.  No problems.

does anyone have an $85 ticket that does NOT have a row and seat # on the email confirmation?

i bought a total of 6 pairs for 2 shows. All the pairs say section is either TBA1, TBA2, or TBA3

BUT they all also have a row # and seat #. For example one of them is row 6 seats 9-10

IN for San Jose. ONLY doing this because I can get there and back cheaper and take my about to expire mandatory vacation time for much cheaper than I can do LA if I get shut out of the cheap tickets.

I ALMOST lost these because I got tired of watching the TM wheel turn and also simultaneously tried for Oakland and got kicked out and had to start over.

Oakland was available for a good 20 mins and San Jose still as of 10:28.

You have to go off the link on the Stones website, you won't find these if you start off on the Ticketmaster page

Unbefuckinglievable!  I closed and reopened rolliingstones.com and voila! there's the $85 ticket button; but of course, all the $85 tix are gone.  I still don't get it.

Thanks, Meg.  A couple of frustrating bouts with Ticketbastard led to a great result.  First, the Oakland debacle taught me to keep refreshing the rs.com site until the $85 button appeared.  A few days later, while ordering Seattle McCartney tix for my daughters and me, I discovered I had a TM account I'd forgotten about, complete with forgotten password and defunct credit card.  That resulted in worse seats for Macca, but luckily I fixed the problem before it screwed me out of Anaheim.

I almost panic bought Anaheim as well, because as you say the AXS interface was being a complete POS... luckily the $85 Staples tickets popped up on my other computer with just a few seconds left to spare before I had to pull the confirmation trigger on Anaheim. LOL..she likes the Stones too (has seen them with me about 12-15 times) but we have other plans made already this summer (on holiday in Italy late May/early June).

I've always said after 2006 I wouldn't go back to the US for Stones shows again - the cost is too prohibitive as is the cancellation risk due to them not getting any younger - and I've had no problem sticking to that.  I'm happy enough that I got to one 02 show last year and will be at the first Hyde Park show too (cant get to Hyde Park 2 as my Bruce Irish tour trip starts a day or two later)

I'm really pleased so many people seem to have got lucky with $85 tickets. I hope they keep that pledge for future tours. Especially when they finally get round to playing arena shows in Europe.
