Anyone else just really dig the kind of glam-rock aura from these shows? Heck, I even think other artists live vids from this era are awesome, i.e. LZ at Earl's Court. Kind of dark, kind of funky vibes - I believe a combo of the music and the way they are captured on film.

I dig that spirit. These are some of my favorite glam rock favorites:

"Sebastian" (Cockney Rebel)
"Starman" (Bowie)
"All The Young Dudes" (Mott)
"New York City"  (T-Rex)

Maybe those qualify as "glam rock" tunes; as in Wikipedia (the only source of reference) wrote: is the style of "singers and musicians who wore outrageous clothes, makeup and hairstyles, particularly platform-soled boots and glitter".

So maybe Bowie or Hunter never wore platform-soled boots. I forgot my stupid point. Maybe my point was to write that it doesn't matter what one listens to; it matters how one behaves in real life, amongst real people.

I quite liked Alvin Stardust. Here in Oz our biggest glam band was Skyhooks. Then a couple of years later, Split Enz (from N.Z.) who later morphed into Crowded House.

We had some minor acts that were terrible. You should check out "William Shakespeare" who later turned out to be a pedo.

Or HUSH. 2 Asian guitarists!! A first for us rascist little Aussies, i can tell ya.

Fuck i hated that era.

But for all the sky high boots, Oz was still pretty much a pub-rock country. With Ac/Dc, Rose Tattoo, Madder Lake, Chain and Mobbsy's fave, Sherbet.
