Thanks, Meg. A couple of frustrating bouts with Ticketbastard led to a great result. First, the Oakland debacle taught me to keep refreshing the rs.com site until the $85 button appeared. A few days later, while ordering Seattle McCartney tix for my daughters and me, I discovered I had a TM account I'd forgotten about, complete with forgotten password and defunct credit card. That resulted in worse seats for Macca, but luckily I fixed the problem before it screwed me out of Anaheim.

And I was shitting myself when it was 10:07am and the $85 ticket link still wasn't popping up on the Stones page... thought I'd done something wrong.

I'm just so fucking happy to have Stones tickets again! I honestly thought Dodger Stadium in 2006 was the last time I'd ever see them play live...

LOL..she likes the Stones too (has seen them with me about 12-15 times) but we have other plans made already this summer (on holiday in Italy late May/early June).

I've always said after 2006 I wouldn't go back to the US for Stones shows again - the cost is too prohibitive as is the cancellation risk due to them not getting any younger - and I've had no problem sticking to that. I'm happy enough that I got to one 02 show last year and will be at the first Hyde Park show too (cant get to Hyde Park 2 as my Bruce Irish tour trip starts a day or two later)

I'm really pleased so many people seem to have got lucky with $85 tickets. I hope they keep that pledge for future tours. Especially when they finally get round to playing arena shows in Europe.
