I saw 'Out Of Control' opening the Bang Tour at Fenway and I do not think it has been played live since.

I find OOC is very similar to Papa Was A Rolling Stone...............still enjoyed the live verwion especially the heavy guitar onslaught at the end with Mick on harp

A post on Shidoobee seems to suggest the show is going to be divided into 3 parts spanning different which might explain all the performances of consecutive early songs.

And Out Of Control has the same problem a lot of the latter era songs do - decent music but cringeworthy lyrics.

Man, I'd love to wing on over to Paris and jam with the Stones! Smiley

Any word on how OMS sounds? Lyrics? Is it great? Will it be a hit? When will I hear it??

I wanna be your man
It's all over now
Not fade away
Everybody needs somebody to love
Get off of my cloud
Doom & gloom
One more shot
Some girls
I just want to make love to you
Sway
Wild horses
Beast of burden
Moonlight mile
Out of control
Live with me
Around and around

Would love to hear them do 'I just wanna make love to you' at its original tempo. Is there any inside info/word that Wyman and Taylor will show up then?

Nope. So far its merely speculation.

Taylor DOES have a show scheduled in London on November 30th, though.

Well, yes - deliberately. They even steal a few bars from it (the choice of title is probably deliberately ironic)

There's a couple of bars nicked from 'Riders on the storm' in the middle of it as well.

If anyone checks the Twitter feed, check out yesterday's picture post from 1990 - the Take A Bow 1990 photo. A fan comments that he was at the final show with Bill Wyman and the person who does the Stones feed said:  Not the last time Wink

Good catch ! It's funny that they're going to "promote" Bill when they never could be bothered to put him in the limelight during all these years, oh well...

I was never a fan of Bill (especially since he went after the 14 year old Mandy Smith and the fact that he left the Stones) and could care less about him appearing with the band. I think the sudden interest in his appearance is odd since not a lot of people cared he wasn't there for the Voodoo Lounge tours and everything after outside of fan boards.  I read all the comments on Yahoo News and other outlets about Bill, and now all of a sudden people are coming out of the woodwork about how great it is that Bill will be a special guest. It's strange how the possibility of Bill's appearance is getting so much attention.

Not at all. Site one article written over the past 20 years, one review, one major publication citing anything about the hole Bill left in their sound.  Not one review of an album starting with Voodoo Lounge right up to the present has stated, "Bill Wyman's bass is missing on this record."

Maybe I'm wrong, but I have yet to see it. Please prove me wrong. I've love to see it outside of fan boards.

I see what you mean Steel Wheels, just sticking my 2 pennence worth in here that although a massive Wyman fan, it was through seeing the Rhythm Kings by chance a few years ago that I got into Wyman's music and eventually the Stones, I've noticed that when mentioning the Stones potential future gigs and the  exciting propsect of Wyman joining there seems to be a general attidue of 'so what.. all he did was stand there', partly perhaps because not many other 20 years old have probably heard of him but I think generally the importance of Wyman's appearance is lost on the casual public  Don't suck my cock

I hope the speculation proves to be true, personally would love to see him up there more so than Taylor

You might be the only person who would rather see Bill Wyman on stage than Mick Taylor!  I haven't seen the so what attitude about Bill's special guest slot  - just the opposite.

He is not alone. Bill coming back and re introducing the wobble is more important than a load of fret wanking imho.

I'd like to see Taylor guest, but it's not the end of the world if he doesn't  . At a club show I'd rather see Dick Taylor.
