Please do.
Let's all assimilate into the Borges, etc.
Here you go!!
Jorge Luis Borges (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jorge_Luis_Borges) was a fan of Rock Music and music in general between many other things; he met Mick Jagger once (in Madrid, Spain) and according to María Kodama they were about to have dinner and suddenly Mick Jagger appears to say “Hi” to Mr. Borges. They were at the Winter Garden @ the Westin Palace Hotel and Mick, kneeling, said to Jorge Luis
“Master, I admire you so much, I read all your work”
“…and you? Who are you?” Asked Jorge Luis who was completely blind at the time, well since 1959 so they never saw a picture of Mick
“My name is Mick Jagger”
Oh… Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, said the master
Astonished, Mick asked “But Master, do you know me? “
“Of course I know you thanks to María who introduced me to your music”
The art was made by Fernando Vicente for the book “De Madrid al Palace” to commemorate 100 years of the emblematic hotel… to do the painting, the artist took a picture of Mick Jagger by Ethan Russell backstage at LA Forum in Los Ángeles
From these sessions, I have an original I bought to Ethan back in 2002
