Hi all,

I was thinking "why not having a topic with losts of Rolling Stones' covers?".
The list must be endless!

Let's kick things off with a bunch :

> this touching piano version of "Mother's Little Helper" by Arno :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi8E4rTfx4A

> this 30's Blues version of "Sympathy For The Devil" by Bukowskian :

“What rap did that was impressive was to show there are so many tone-deaf people out there,” he says. “All they need is a drum beat and somebody yelling over it and they’re happy. There’s an enormous market for people who can’t tell one note from another.” - Keef

I can just see all the covers soon to come after the Stones stop.

Stones might be even bigger when there is no more...

Get ready.

My all time favorite is Rip This Joint by the Candy Snatchers

THen here is the Mau Mau's at the Redwood a few months ago

A few weeks ago I saw two in one night - Barrio Tiger doing Connection followed by Kevin K And THe Hollywood Stars (with special guest Joey Pinter of the Waldos) doing The Last Time.

A few months ago I saw a country band (un-named house band) do Dead Flowers and afterward someone back by the bar yelled "What is this, classic rock night?"
