Mary had a minor setback over the weekend; due to a fever she was transferred back to ICU. She's also had some emotional issues (Who wouldn't given all she's been through) that are making her a bit uncooperative with the therapists. But yesterday we got word from Bob that Mary worked with the Respiratory therapist which entailed swallowing small ice cubes as a prep for eating soft foods. Her fever is down.

This is a very critical stage in her recovery so your prayers and good vibes are needed now more than ever.

I'm very happy from the news that are coming from Florida.
Mary got a strenghtness that few got. She'll has still a long way to go through but who could say that till few weeks ago?

'No excuses, every day' to do her training and went off the bed.

Still need prayers as well from us all. I will.

Good news to report. Mary's attitude has improved and she is cooperating. She has asked for her cell phone and Bob is bringing it to her. Whether or not she'll make any calls remains to be seen as she's still not able to speak; but she may try to text!!! Respiratory Therapy has begun to take her Breathing tube out for extended periods of time to allow her to swallow ice chips to establish throat control. Hopefully it won't be too long before she can eat and then speak clearly. Good, steady progress, like an Olympic champion!!! Prayers and good thoughts much appreciated!!!!
