'Black and Blue'- Stones
Last truly perfect Stones album? (well, not including 'Undercover'; and maybe 'Voodoo Lounge'...).

'Give 'Em Enough Rope'- The Clash
"Bad production" be damned! True power and destiny, catchy as the Beatles (or whoever), still highly topical/relevent, and:
Mick Jones could easily fit right in with the Stone's- touring or recording. Or producing.

Yup. A gorgeous album: elegent, warm (literally!), perectly textured sound, all the more amazing because it's all done live and outdoors (barring a couple subtle guitar or bass overdubs from Richards).
Sort of a '60's - early '70's greatest hits of reggae, ska, bluebeat that plays like one long incantatory dream.

This is how I like music to be envisioned, played, recorded and felt.
