The Hendrix tribute at the Fox also looks good.

Looking forward to the Stones return to the Fabulous Fox this fall featuring Chuckie on the organ!

Seeing Buddy Guy and BB KIng again will close out for me the thrill of seeing so many of the great blues and rock black legends. Been very lucky to have seen:
*Muddy
*Howlin Wolf
*Chuck Berry
*Etta James
*John Lee Hooker
*Hubert Sumlin

National Treasures all of them and so many more!

BB King is OK - and has slowed way down due to weight/the sugar.

Buddy motherfuckin' Guy is still an amazing performer.  The guy continues to ooze gritty blues with a hint of back alley danger - the kind Keith used to have for much of his performing life but that faded away after the Voodoo Lounge era...

Allright, not sure if I've told my Buddy Guy story on here before. But in any case I think it's worth telling.....I saw good old Buddy for the first time earlier this year in Lake Tahoe.  He takes the stage and plays some mean blues and tells some great old stories. I get up to use the restroom (too many beers). Head back to my seat and I notice their is a bunch of people in the aisle. Turns out it's Buddy with 1 roadie following him and a few fans. He starts to head my way. I move aside. He walks by jamming and walks out of the club into the lobby and stands there in front of the ticket office for a few seconds jamming with fans in tow. Before heading back inside and to the stage. Needless to say, very fun show. BG can still lay down a lick. Never have seen BB. But love the fact he's still going. Hope to catch him once.

Cool - BG is lovin' life. Every day above the earth is a blessed thing, and he walks it...

Yes BB King at 81 is slowing down but man I just gotta see him once. Plus the way he played at the MSG Rock Hall show on HBO says he's got some gas left in the tank.
