Offline Rocks Off Rules You Bastards Posts: 2	Exile '87 Reissue LP Oct 13^th, 2009 at 7:25pm hello there, new here.. eccentric, fun board you guys have here I was wondering if anyone knows if any remastering, alterations were done to the Exile on Main Street reissue from 1987. Or is it essentially the same as the orignal presses? Thanks

Just a straightforward analogue transfer as was standard for all the CD reissues at that time. The Virgin remasters of all the post-1970 catalogue which were released from 1994 onwards are a huge improvement on the Sony versions.

and I know usually when a vinyl is reissued its untampered with, but in some cases some remastering, other changes are made. And I want to hear Exile the way the band intended, so, had to ask. Thanks again!
