It is really true....I think currently it is 10 years to catch on. the ballads espec..

Maybe b/c they are on aveerage 10 years older than us. the songs reflect the mood of the age
of the songwriter. I don't think Keith gets noted for a lot of the songs that were singularly written by him there is a lot of self deprecation going on nobody likes a swell head egomaniac after all. and you need the voice of an awesome vocalist. you see on ONNYA video that Mick is reading lyrics from a sheet. That one was a KR for instance. I am quite convinced

Can't remember for sute what was said at the time, but ONNYA was considered a Mick rocker, still sounds like one to me, and ABB a "Mick" album, pretty much by Keith's admission, he said someting like "I laid a few tracks on him and laid fairy dust on his". (approx.)
